Diablo 3 new player restrictions partially lifted by Blizzard

A week ago, Blizzard introduced a new program that restricted new players who had just bought the download version of Diablo 3 from accessing the full game for up to 72 hours.

Their fans were none too happy with this move (as our article at the time showcased.) Today, Blizzard has announced that program has been repealed in the latest patch, Patch 1.0.3a.

Due to security reasons, there will still be some restrictions on new accounts until purchases are verified. However, those restrictions will likely only prevent players from playing outside their server, and using the Real-Money Auction House. Blizzard has said the restrictions are often lifted within a day, but could still take up to 72 hours.

The best mobile phones for your business

Business owners no doubt know the value of having a good mobile phone network to keep things running smoothly. Smartphones are by far the best way to equip your business in 2012 and are deemed by most as an essential business device. With the rapid development of mobile phone technology, smartphones have become extremely powerful pieces of equipment, allowing you to send and receive email, edit documents and spread sheets and create media content such as pictures and videos on the fly. Choosing the right mobile phone can be a tricky and expensive experience, so here are some helpful tips for finding the best mobile phone for your business.

Choosing the best phone for your business is dependent on what you need the device to do. Most modern phones come equipped with the ability to read and edit documents as well as check emails. There is a vast array of mobile phone models on offer ranging from more basic cheaper models to devices targeted at the professional market. It is important that you choose a handset that is reliable, so make sure to do your research if you opt for a cheaper business phone.
Blackberry handsets produced by RIM used to be the leaders of the business market, offering rugged handsets with a physical keyboard. These handsets are a proven success in the business environment, however with Android and Apple products now dominating the market, there are more powerful and more efficient handsets on the market. The new IPhone 4s is considered the best handset on the market, boasting unprecedented performance and features. If you want a handset that can handle anything thrown at it, be sure to shop around for iphone deals.
If you intend on using the mobile phones in your business for international calls, it is highly recommended that you choose a mobile phone that will support VOIP calls. VOIP or Voice Over Internet Protocol allows you to make phone calls over the internet. The great advantage of this is that if you are connected to a wireless connection, you can call anywhere in the world for free. This feature is advised for smaller companies who wish to save great amounts of money on phone bills.
If you’re struggling to find the right device for your business, you can seek the help of a consultant to help analyse what kind of devices you should purchase as well as which network to join. Whether you are buying 5 or 50 handsets, it is of the upmost importance that you get the same model for everyone. This will help ensure that everyone is on the same page as well as help avoid any compatibility issues you may encounter.

Valve, Adult Swim collaboration is an in-game Robot Chicken hat

For the last week, Valve and Adult Swim have been touting an upcoming partnership between the two companies that "you'll probably like."

Today the two companies took the wrapper off this announcement and showed the world what they've been working on: a new hat for Team Fortress 2. Needless to say, this isn't exactly what some fans had in mind.
Given that Adult Swim is in the cartoon business, and Valve makes ultra-high-quality machinima, we hoped the announcement would involve the two of them working together on a series of videos or something of that ilk.

But hats are cool too, we suppose. According to Adult Swim this is only the first in a series of "stuff" they'll be working on with Valve.

To get your Robot Chicken TF2 hat, you need only sign up for the Adult Swim newsletter.

Canon’s Micro Four Thirds Camera In The Next 30 Days

Canon’s mirrorless entry could be just around and just waiting its official curtain be lift off, though at the moment there are scant details about the camera. However, CanonRumors are getting more and more information about the announcement slated for sometime in the next 30 days, probably that will fall nearly on the rumored July 24th announcement.

The rumor also suggest that Canon’s micro four third entry will might be using same sized or maybe even the exact same sensor fitted on the G1 X.

Accordingly, there will be three lenses will go on debut, which might seemed to be a new mount. But we’re looking on the possibility that the camera will be or there’s a way to make it  compatible to existing EF or EF-S lenses.

Looking forward, there might be three class of mirrorless entry coming from Canon, with the initial announcement introducing the consumer level camera while the “prosumer” and “professional” inclined cameras are planned to come later.

For the meantime, we can take each pieces of these mirrorless with a grain of salt but expect the coming weeks throwing solid leaks if Canon will make its micro four third entry official.

"Meet the Pyro" TF2 video arrives and it's amazing, horrifying

Unfortunately, Meet the Pyro will likely be the very last of the official Meet the Team videos that we've enjoyed so much over the years. However, we're likely going to hear more about Valve's TF2 collaboration with Adult Swim soon. You may notice that the end of the video features the "Source Filmmaker" logo for Valve's machinima tools, which might possibly be related to the Adult Swim announcement. So perhaps we'll have more to look forward to after all.

When designing the long-awaited Meet the Pyro video, Valve was likely faced with a dilemma: how do you make this person - who burns people alive while axing others to death - endearing and funny to a mass audience? Miraculously, Valve found a solution to that dilemma, and the results are priceless.
