Square Enix has confirmed that Final Fantasy VII is coming back to the PC sometime this year (still undetermined) and they've released a new trailer to get fans all hot-and-bothered for the return of this cherished classic.

You may remember that we reported on this as a rumor a couple weeks ago, with the included information that this new version will be supported by microtransactions that allow you to purchase Phoenix Downs, potions, XP accelerators etc.
While we're excited to have an excuse to play Final Fantasy VII again, the introduction of microtransactions makes that joy a little conflicted. We're worried that this will alter the balance of the game and turn it into essentially a FFVII tour or amusement park ride.
